After noticing Dan had a fairly easy "rebound" by going out with Amanda, Blair tries to sabotage the new romance by becoming friends with her. Vanessa on the other hand enlists the help of Blair after uncovering a secret about Catherine being more than family with Blair's admirer, Marcus. Meanwhile, Lily and Rufus finds themselves being drawn together.
